I too am an animal lover and even like dogs. I would find it hard to take an animal to the pound even if it was the right decision. Congrats on your newest family member. Good to hear from you! I agree with the "In for a penny, in for a pound" thing when it comes to dogs. Scott and I do not take the decision to take on a dog lightly at all. However, this one was thrust upon us. That's the only reason I would consider turning him over to the Animal Shelter. But, obviously, we decided in the end not to. I've been reading lot's of Cesar Milan's material this week. We love watching his show! And the silverware and other valuables, for the most part, are no longer where he can see them or get to them.
